I am so loving all your podcasts! Thank you for sharing your love and knowledge of books with readers everywhere.

I have one book to highly recommend for Caroline. It's the first in the most recent series by Patrick Lee, and it's called Runner.

I thought of it immediately when she began describing the children in The Girl With All The Gifts. It opens with 12-year-old Rachel running into complete stranger Sam Dryden while she's running for her life. And she doesn't remember why she's running for her life. Sam, of course, helps, and things get interesting fast!

It's very much an adult novel. I loved it, and am waiting to get its sequel from the library.

His first series, The Breach Trilogy, is also a page turner. Patrick is very good at making you believe things that you might think impossible to pull off before reading his books.

Now, after listening to this episode, I'm excited to put I Capture The Castle on my reading list! Some of the others as well, but that sounds wonderful.
